Ticket Platform for Event Management

This ticket platform was built to streamline the event ticketing process for both event organizers and attendees. The platform allows event owners to list events and categorize tickets by type, price, and availability. Users can seamlessly purchase tickets via Credit cards, tailored specifically for the French market.

Upon purchase, users receive a confirmation email with a PDF e-ticket. Each e-ticket contains detailed event information, the buyer’s full name, and a unique QR code for entry. When scanned at the event, the QR code is instantly marked as used in the database, preventing reuse.

Key Features

Ticket Categorization & Management:

Event organizers can easily categorize tickets by type, price, and capacity.

Secure Payment Integration:

Integrated a Payment API from a local French bank for secure Visa card transactions.

E-ticket Generation:

PDF e-tickets are automatically generated and emailed to users upon purchase.

QR Code Validation:

Each ticket includes a unique QR code for secure entry, which is updated in the database upon scanning.

Notifications & Communication:

Implemented SMS and email notifications to keep users informed of ticket purchases and event details.

My Role

I was responsible for the complete project lifecycle, from design and wireframing in Figma to full-stack development and deployment. This project was delivered as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and met the client’s expectations, providing a solid foundation for further development.

Outcome

The client was pleased with the final product, which effectively met their requirements for a user-friendly, secure, and scalable ticketing solution. The MVP allowed them to successfully test and validate the platform in the market.
