AFMS Logistics is a comprehensive fuel management system designed to give organizations complete oversight of their fuel storage and distribution operations. Initially developed as an MVP in 2018, the project evolved into a full-scale startup platform.

enabling real-time monitoring and control of fuel tanks, pumps, and fuel transactions. The system captures critical data to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency for fleet and fuel management.

Key Features

Data-Driven Dashboard:

Provides a real-time overview of fuel storage levels, pump status, and critical metrics. Designed as an actionable control center, the dashboard condenses essential data to evaluate performance and operational status.

Fuel Usage Monitoring & Statistics:

Offers an overview of fuel usage across fleets, supporting optimal fuel management with usage statistics and transaction histories.

Tank & Pump Management:

Tracks tank conditions, including temperature, water levels, and ullage. Real-time pump synchronization ensures users can monitor pump statuses instantly, providing timely insights into hardware health.

Automated Reporting:

Allows users to customize and schedule PDF reports on fuel usage, deliveries, tank levels, and equipment status. Reports can be sent via email or accessed directly from the platform.

Custom Alerts & Notifications:

Real-time alerts notify users of system malfunctions, unusual data patterns, or predefined conditions such as low stock levels or critical safety thresholds.

API Integration for Mobile Access:

A robust API enables mobile access to essential data and functions, creating a unified platform for web and mobile users.

My Role

was responsible for the complete development of the initial MVP and the continuous evolution of the platform as the project expanded into a startup. This included designing the solution from scratch, implementing a data management system for IoT devices, developing a report scheduling and PDF generation system, setting up real-time WebSocket notifications, and managing cloud server stability and maintenance.

Outcome

AFMS Logistics has provided clients with critical visibility and control over their fuel storage and distribution, significantly reducing operational disruptions and improving decision-making. The platform’s flexible reporting and alerting features empower organizations to respond proactively to fuel management needs, and its scalability positions it for further enhancements as business requirements grow.
